Agreement between
User and https:24-7learning.com
24-7 Learning connects students, parents and guardians with tutors, educational programmes, recorded courses and academic support services. These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the 24-7 Learning website and the services offered through it. By registering for an account, making a purchase, booking a lesson or otherwise using the platform, users agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Parents and legal guardians who approve a minor's participation also agree to the provisions relevant to their responsibilities. Certain services may have additional terms or requirements displayed before purchase. Where applicable, these form part of the agreement for that service. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Services Offered
24-7 Learning provides access to educational services that may include:
One-on-one tutoring
Group classes and examination preparation
Prepaid tutoring packages
Recorded courses and digital learning resources
Academic Coaching & Student Support
Other educational programmes introduced through the platform
Services may be delivered by Natken Educational Services Ltd. or by educators and other approved providers offering services through 24-7 Learning. Service descriptions, prices, availability, delivery methods and any applicable conditions will be displayed on the platform. 24-7 Learning reserves the right to introduce, modify or discontinue services, subject to existing customer commitments and applicable law.
3. Account Registration and Eligibility
Users must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering for an account. Users are responsible for keeping their account information reasonably up to date. Students under eighteen (18) years of age may initiate account registration but must obtain approval from a parent or legal guardian before their accounts are fully activated. 24-7 Learning will seek parental or guardian approval through an email verification process or another approved verification method. The platform may restrict bookings, purchases, tutor communication and other account features while parental approval remains pending. Where necessary, 24-7 Learning may request additional information to verify the authority of the person granting approval. Users must not create accounts using false identities, impersonate others or provide misleading registration information. 24-7 Learning may refuse or restrict registration where necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or comply with applicable law.
4. Parents, Guardians and Family Accounts
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for authorising the participation of minors under their care. They are also responsible for approving purchases and helping minors use the platform safely and appropriately. Where supported by the platform, parent accounts may be linked to multiple student accounts, allowing parents or guardians to manage their children's educational activities. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that information provided about their children is accurate. A parent or guardian may request to review or withdraw parental approval. Any resulting account restrictions or closure will be handled in accordance with applicable law and outstanding service obligations. 24-7 Learning may request reasonable verification before disclosing information about a minor or granting another individual access to a child's account.
5. Account Security
Users must maintain the confidentiality of their passwords and account credentials. Accounts must not be sold, transferred or shared with unauthorised persons. Users should notify 24-7 Learning promptly if they suspect unauthorised access, fraudulent activity or a security breach involving their accounts. 24-7 Learning may temporarily restrict account access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse or protect platform security. Users remain responsible for taking reasonable precautions to secure their devices and accounts.
6. Pricing, Payments and Purchases
Prices for educational services will be displayed on the platform before purchase. Customers must review the selected service, tutor, lesson duration, schedule, price and other relevant details before confirming a purchase. Unless another payment arrangement has been expressly approved, payment must be completed before a booking, enrolment or purchase is confirmed. Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers. International customers may incur currency conversion charges, bank fees or other charges imposed by their financial institutions. Where a payment is unsuccessful, incomplete or declined, the relevant booking or purchase may remain unconfirmed. Suspected duplicate charges or payment errors should be reported promptly for investigation. 24-7 Learning may offer discount codes, promotional prices, referral rewards and other incentives. These will be governed by the eligibility requirements and validity periods stated for the relevant offer. Customers must not misuse promotional offers, payment systems or referral programmes.
7. One-on-One Tutoring: Bookings and Attendance
One-on-one tutoring sessions are scheduled according to the selected tutor's availability. Students are responsible for attending lessons at the confirmed dates and times. Tutors are expected to arrive punctually, be prepared and provide the full purchased lesson duration. If a student joins a lesson late, the lesson will ordinarily end at its originally scheduled time. The tutor is not required to extend the session to compensate for the student's lateness. Tutors must remain available for at least twenty (20) minutes from the scheduled lesson start time before reporting an absent student as a no-show. Where a student fails to attend, the lesson fee will ordinarily be forfeited unless an approved exception or applicable legal right applies. A no-show report may be reviewed where the student or parent disputes the circumstances. If a tutor arrives late, the student must receive the full purchased teaching duration through an extension or an appropriate make-up arrangement. If a tutor ends a session early for reasons attributable to the tutor, the remaining teaching time must be provided or another appropriate remedy arranged.
8. One-on-One Tutoring: Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel a one-on-one tutoring session at least twelve (12) hours before its scheduled start time and receive platform credit equivalent to 100% of the eligible lesson value. Each one-on-one tutoring booking includes one (1) complimentary reschedule, provided the request is made at least twelve (12) hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability. Additional rescheduling requests are not automatically permitted. Customers may instead cancel within the permitted notice period and receive credit, where eligible. Cancellations made with less than twelve (12) hours' notice will ordinarily result in forfeiture of the lesson fee. Late rescheduling requests are subject to the same general conditions as late cancellations. Genuine emergencies, including serious illness, bereavement or other significant unforeseen circumstances, may be considered individually. An exception is not guaranteed and will depend on the circumstances and available information. Where a tutor cancels a lesson, the customer will be offered appropriate rescheduling or an alternative suitable tutor. A monetary refund will be available where the purchased service cannot be delivered or where otherwise required by law. Customers will not be penalised for cancellations attributable to the tutor or 24-7 Learning.
9. Lesson Credits and Redemption
Eligible lesson credits will be issued as monetary values rather than fixed tutoring hours. Lesson credits will remain valid for six (6) calendar months from the date of issuance. Credits may be used towards eligible educational services offered on 24-7 Learning, including:
One-on-one tutoring
Group classes
Recorded courses
Other services designated as eligible
Where the purchase price exceeds the available credit balance, the customer must pay the difference using an accepted payment method. Where the credit balance exceeds the purchase price, the unused amount will remain available until its original expiry date. Partial redemption will not extend the original credit expiry date. Where a customer has multiple credits, the earliest-expiring credit will be applied first. Credits issued for a new qualifying transaction will have their own applicable expiry dates. Customers may use eligible credits to make purchases before their expiry dates, even where the purchased service is scheduled for a later date, subject to the service's own booking conditions. Credits issued following voluntary cancellations are not ordinarily redeemable for cash, except where approved by 24-7 Learning or required by applicable law.
Family Credit Sharing
Credits arising from eligible purchases made through a parent or guardian account may be used towards services for any child linked to that same account. Credits cannot ordinarily be sold or transferred to unrelated customer accounts. Removing a child from a family account does not automatically remove credits belonging to the paying parent or guardian. Where a purchase made using existing credit is subsequently cancelled, any reissued original credit will ordinarily retain its original expiry date. Newly credited cash-paid amounts will receive the applicable new credit period. Customer rights to refunds or other remedies for undelivered or materially defective services remain unaffected by these provisions.
10. Prepaid Tutoring Packages
24-7 Learning may offer prepaid tutoring packages containing a specified number of tutoring hours. Each package will have a clearly stated purchase price, number of hours and validity period. Customers are responsible for scheduling and completing all purchased lessons within the package's stated validity period. All package lessons must be completed before the package expiry date. Booking a lesson before the package expires does not extend the package validity period or automatically permit the lesson to take place after expiry. Unused package hours will ordinarily expire at the end of the stated validity period without automatic refund, extension or credit conversion, subject to approved exceptions and applicable law.
Early Discontinuation
Customers may request to discontinue a prepaid tutoring package before its expiry date. Where an eligible package is discontinued, its unused paid value will be converted into platform credit valid for six (6) calendar months from issuance. The credit amount will be calculated by deducting the value of completed lessons from the original package payment. Where the package was discounted, completed lessons will be valued at the original discounted package rate. Customers will retain the benefit of their package discount on lessons already completed. Credits issued following package discontinuation may be used towards any eligible 24-7 Learning service and may be shared among children linked to the same paying parent account. Where tutor unavailability, platform-related issues or other circumstances outside the customer's responsibility prevent delivery, 24-7 Learning may provide an appropriate extension, replacement service or refund, as warranted.
11. Group Classes and Programmes
Group classes are scheduled educational sessions involving more than one student. Students are responsible for attending their classes at the scheduled times. Student-initiated cancellations, absences and late attendance will not ordinarily qualify for refunds, credits or replacement sessions, except where required by applicable law. A student who joins a class late may participate for the remaining scheduled duration. Missing a class within a multi-session programme does not entitle the student to a replacement class, refund or adjustment to the programme fee.
Teacher Cancellations and Replacements
If a teacher cancels a scheduled group class, 24-7 Learning will arrange for the class to be rescheduled for its full original duration at no additional cost. Where the original teacher is unavailable, 24-7 Learning may assign another suitably qualified teacher to conduct the session. If a teacher starts a group class late, the full scheduled teaching duration must still be provided. If a teacher ends a class early for reasons attributable to the teacher, the outstanding teaching time must be provided through an extension or an appropriate make-up arrangement. Students will be notified of relevant changes to class schedules or teacher assignments. Where 24-7 Learning cannot deliver a purchased class despite reasonable replacement arrangements, appropriate remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
12. Recorded Courses and Digital Learning Materials
Recorded courses and digital learning resources allow students to access educational content through the 24-7 Learning platform. Customers are responsible for reviewing the course description, subject matter, intended educational level, price and other relevant information before purchasing.
Recorded-course purchases are generally final and non-refundable where a customer changes their mind, decides not to continue studying or fails to complete the course. This policy does not affect rights to refunds or other remedies where purchased content is not provided, is materially defective or does not meet applicable legal requirements.
Unless a different access period is expressly stated before purchase, recorded courses will remain accessible for as long as the relevant course continues to be available on 24-7 Learning. This arrangement is described as lifetime access but does not represent a guarantee that the course will remain hosted or available indefinitely.
24-7 Learning may update, revise or discontinue courses where reasonably necessary. Where a purchased course is to be permanently removed, reasonable advance notice will be provided where practicable, and any appropriate remedy will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.
Recorded-course videos, worksheets and associated learning resources are intended for online access through the platform. Customers are not permitted to download, screen-record, reproduce, distribute, resell or publicly share protected content unless expressly authorised by the relevant rights holder. Students may prepare their own original study notes for personal educational use.
Purchasing a recorded course grants the enrolled student a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the course for educational purposes in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. Ownership of the underlying intellectual property remains with the relevant creator or rights holder.
13. Individual Recorded-Course Enrolments
Each recorded-course enrolment is intended for one (1) student only. Where a parent or guardian manages multiple children through the same family account, a separate enrolment must be purchased for each child who wishes to access the same course.
Parents may use available family platform credit towards purchasing separate course enrolments for their children. However, a single enrolment cannot be shared among siblings or transferred freely between students.
Where a parent or guardian accidentally enrols the wrong child in a recorded course, a transfer to another child linked to the same parent account may be requested before the course content has been accessed. Such requests are subject to approval by 24-7 Learning.
Once course access has begun, the enrolment is generally non-transferable. Transfers between unrelated customer accounts are not ordinarily permitted. Where a correction is approved before access begins, the parent will not be required to purchase the same enrolment again.
14. Academic Coaching & Student Support
24-7 Learning may offer Academic Coaching & Student Support services designed to assist students and families with educational planning and academic development. These services may include Personalised Learning Plans, Goal Setting & Academic Planning, Examination Preparation Strategies and Academic Transition Support.
An Academic Coaching service may include an individual consultation, research, analysis and preparation of a personalised written document. The scope, price and delivery timeframe for each service will be clearly stated before purchase.
Academic Coaching consultations follow the general one-on-one tutoring cancellation policy. Customers who cancel at least twelve (12) hours before the scheduled consultation will receive eligible platform credit valid for six (6) months. One complimentary reschedule is permitted when requested at least twelve (12) hours in advance, subject to provider availability.
Late cancellations and missed consultations will ordinarily result in forfeiture of the consultation fee, subject to approved emergency exceptions and applicable law. Providers must remain available for at least twenty (20) minutes before reporting an absent customer as a no-show.
Where a service includes both a consultation and a personalised written document, completion of the consultation alone does not constitute full delivery of the purchased service. The provider remains responsible for preparing and delivering the agreed document.
The delivery timeframe will be specified separately for each Academic Coaching service before purchase. The applicable period will begin after the consultation has been completed and the provider has received the information reasonably necessary to prepare the document. Where additional information is needed, the provider may request clarification and communicate any necessary adjustment to the delivery timeframe.
Customers are responsible for providing reasonably accurate information relevant to the service. Where a customer voluntarily discontinues the service after the consultation, any request for credit or refund will be reviewed based on the consultation delivered, work already completed and outstanding deliverables. Payment for work already performed will not automatically qualify for a full credit or refund.
Each personalised Academic Coaching document includes one (1) complimentary minor revision, provided the request is submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the document's delivery. A minor revision may include reasonable clarifications, adjustments or changes that remain within the original scope of the purchased service.
Requests involving substantial additional research, new academic objectives, additional consultations or the preparation of a substantially different document may attract additional fees. Any such fees must be disclosed and agreed upon before further work begins.
Factual errors or material deficiencies attributable to the provider will be corrected without additional charge where appropriate. Corrections necessary to address such errors will not automatically count towards the customer's complimentary revision allowance.
Customers receive a perpetual, non-exclusive right to save, print and use completed personalised academic documents for the educational support of the student for whom the service was purchased. Documents may be shared with parents, guardians, teachers, school counsellors and other individuals directly involved in supporting the student's education.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, providers retain ownership of their pre-existing templates, frameworks, teaching methods and proprietary educational materials. Customers must not commercially reproduce, resell or redistribute such materials without authorisation.
Academic Coaching provides educational guidance and planning support. It does not constitute medical, psychological or clinical assessment, and it does not guarantee particular examination results, grades, school placements or other academic outcomes.
15. Tutors and Educational Providers
Tutors and educational providers offering services through 24-7 Learning are expected to maintain appropriate professional standards and provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, subjects, services and availability.
Tutors must honour confirmed bookings, arrive punctually, prepare appropriately and provide the full teaching time purchased by customers. They are also expected to communicate professionally, report attendance honestly and cooperate with reasonable enquiries concerning service delivery or customer complaints.
Tutors must maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students, particularly minors. Harassment, exploitation, inappropriate personal relationships, misuse of student information and other conduct that compromises student welfare are strictly prohibited.
Tutors may be subject to additional contractual requirements contained in a separate Tutor Agreement. Such arrangements may address commissions, payment processing, withdrawals, subscriptions, featured listings and other commercial obligations applicable to educational providers.
16. Student Safety and Professional Conduct
24-7 Learning is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and appropriate online learning environment. Students, parents, tutors and other users must treat one another respectfully and refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats or exploitation.
Communication between tutors and students must remain appropriate to the educational relationship and use channels authorised by 24-7 Learning. Tutors must not seek unnecessary sensitive personal information, misuse their position of trust or engage in inappropriate communication with minors.
Users are encouraged to report suspected abuse, exploitation, grooming, serious harassment or other safeguarding concerns promptly through the platform's designated support channels or to relevant authorities where appropriate.
Where a concern presents an immediate or significant risk to a child or another user, 24-7 Learning may take protective action without waiting for an ordinary disciplinary process to conclude. Such action may include temporarily restricting access, suspending an account, preserving relevant evidence or referring a matter to the appropriate authorities.
Safeguarding information will be handled with appropriate confidentiality, and access should be limited to authorised persons responsible for addressing the concern.
17. Lesson Recordings and Personal Information
Users must not record, photograph, livestream or distribute private tutoring sessions, group classes or other students' personal information without appropriate authorisation.
Where lesson recording functionality is offered, recordings will be subject to the applicable consent requirements, privacy safeguards and conditions communicated to participants. Access to authorised recordings will be limited according to their intended educational purpose and relevant permissions.
Personal information collected through the platform will be handled in accordance with the 24-7 Learning Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements. Information concerning minors will be subject to appropriate safeguards.
Participation in educational services does not automatically constitute permission for 24-7 Learning or a tutor to use a student's name, photograph, testimonial, learning materials or lesson recordings for promotional purposes.
18. Intellectual Property
The 24-7 Learning website, branding, original platform content, educational materials and other protected works may be owned by Natken Educational Services Ltd., individual tutors or other authorised rights holders.
Customers receive the access and usage rights expressly associated with the services they purchase. A purchase does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Unless permission has been granted or the use is otherwise permitted by law, users must not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly display or commercially exploit protected course materials, worksheets, recordings or other educational resources.
Tutors remain responsible for ensuring that materials they upload or provide through the platform do not unlawfully infringe the rights of third parties. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions restricts uses permitted under applicable copyright law.
19. Acceptable Use of the Platform
Users must access and use 24-7 Learning lawfully, honestly and for its intended educational purposes. Activities that compromise the safety, security, integrity or proper operation of the platform are prohibited.
Users must not engage in fraud, impersonation, harassment, unauthorised account access, payment manipulation, misuse of promotional incentives, unlawful distribution of copyrighted materials or unauthorised disclosure of personal information.
Users must not attempt to interfere with website operations, bypass security measures, introduce malicious software or misuse platform features in ways that may harm other users or service providers.
Where a suspected violation is reported, 24-7 Learning may investigate the circumstances and take appropriate action in accordance with its enforcement policy and applicable law.
20. Warnings, Suspensions and Account Termination
24-7 Learning follows a progressive approach to account enforcement. Minor first-time violations may result in a warning and a reasonable opportunity to correct the behaviour. Repeated violations may lead to temporary restrictions, suspension or account termination.
Serious misconduct, including fraud, exploitation, significant harassment, threats or conduct that places students at risk, may result in immediate suspension or termination. Protective action may also be taken while a serious safeguarding or security concern is investigated.
Where reasonably appropriate and safe, users will be informed of the reasons for an account restriction and given an opportunity to respond. Enforcement decisions will take account of the nature, seriousness and circumstances of the conduct involved.
Users may also request voluntary closure of their accounts by contacting 24-7 Learning. Before an account is closed, it may be necessary to address outstanding bookings, payments, complaints, disputes or other legitimate obligations.
Suspension or closure of an account does not automatically result in forfeiture of unused credits, purchased but undelivered services or refunds required under applicable law. Outstanding customer entitlements will be assessed in accordance with the relevant service policies, the circumstances of the account closure and applicable legal requirements.
Certain records may be retained following account closure where reasonably necessary for financial administration, safeguarding, dispute resolution or legal compliance, as further explained in the Privacy Policy.
21. Complaints and Customer Support
24-7 Learning is committed to addressing customer concerns fairly, professionally and within reasonable timeframes. Complaints may relate to bookings, cancellations, payments, lesson attendance, tutor conduct, educational services, technical difficulties or other platform-related matters.
Customers should submit complaints through the official support channels and provide sufficient information to identify and investigate the issue. This may include booking details, transaction references, a description of the concern and relevant supporting information.
We will aim to acknowledge ordinary complaints within three (3) business days of receipt. An acknowledgement confirms that the complaint has been received but does not necessarily mean the matter has been resolved.
24-7 Learning will seek to investigate and resolve complaints fairly and within a reasonable timeframe. Where additional investigation is required, customers will be provided with reasonable updates. Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate resolution may involve clarification, correction of an error, rescheduling, a replacement service, platform credit, a monetary refund or another suitable remedy.
Where a complaint involves a disputed lesson attendance record or no-show report, available booking information, meeting records, timestamps, communications and other relevant evidence may be reviewed. Both parties may be asked to provide their accounts of the incident before a decision is reached.
Urgent safeguarding concerns will receive immediate priority and will not be subject to the ordinary complaint acknowledgement timeframe. Customers who disagree with the outcome of a complaint may request further review by 24-7 Learning management.
Nothing in this section prevents customers from seeking assistance from a relevant regulator, payment provider, court or other lawful dispute-resolution body.
22. Technical Issues and Platform Availability
24-7 Learning uses internet-based services and may depend on website hosting, payment processors, video conferencing providers, streaming technologies and other third-party systems. Although reasonable efforts will be made to maintain the platform, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Users are responsible for maintaining suitable devices, internet connections and other equipment reasonably necessary to access online educational services. Technical difficulties arising from a customer's local internet connection or personal device will be assessed according to the circumstances and relevant service policies.
Where a technical problem attributable to 24-7 Learning or its service providers prevents a purchased educational service from being delivered, an appropriate arrangement will be made to provide the outstanding service or another remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may involve rescheduling, replacement delivery, an extension, credit or a monetary refund.
We may carry out website maintenance, software updates and other technical work to maintain security and functionality. Where reasonably practicable, users will be informed of planned interruptions that materially affect scheduled services.
23. Educational Outcomes and Student Responsibilities
24-7 Learning seeks to connect students with educational services that support learning, development and academic progress. However, educational outcomes depend on several factors, including student attendance, participation, effort, previous knowledge, individual needs and circumstances beyond the control of the platform or tutor.
We do not guarantee specific examination grades, school placements, university admissions, scholarships or other academic outcomes. Students are encouraged to attend lessons regularly, complete assigned work and participate actively in their learning.
This provision does not reduce a tutor's or provider's obligation to deliver the purchased educational service with reasonable care, skill and professionalism.
24. Third-Party Services and External Links
24-7 Learning may integrate with third-party services to facilitate payments, online lessons, communications, video streaming, hosting and other website functions. Use of these services may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms, conditions and privacy policies.
Our website may contain links to external educational resources and other websites. We do not control all content or operations of independent third-party websites and encourage users to review the relevant terms before using them.
The involvement of third-party technology providers does not remove any legal responsibilities that 24-7 Learning may have concerning the educational services it sells or arranges.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, 24-7 Learning will not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from a user's failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
We do not guarantee that every service will be free from minor interruptions or that every student's preferred tutor, lesson time or educational outcome will always be available or achievable.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, failure to deliver services where a legal remedy is required or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any limitation of liability will be interpreted in accordance with applicable Jamaican law and other mandatory legal protections that may apply.
26. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
24-7 Learning may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in educational services, platform technology, operational requirements or applicable law.
When changes are made, the revised Terms & Conditions will be published on the website with an updated effective date. Where changes materially affect existing customer rights or obligations, reasonable notice will be provided where appropriate.
Updates will not retrospectively remove legal rights that customers have already acquired. Continued use of the platform after updated terms become effective may constitute acceptance where legally appropriate.
27. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica, subject to any mandatory legal protections applicable to customers in other jurisdictions.
Where a disagreement arises concerning the use of the platform or the delivery of an educational service, users are encouraged to contact 24-7 Learning through its official support channels so that the matter may be reviewed and an appropriate resolution considered.
Where a matter cannot be resolved through customer support or management review, the parties retain their rights to pursue available legal or regulatory remedies. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents a customer from contacting a relevant consumer protection authority or exercising rights available under applicable law.
28. Contact Information
